How to Reach Us

Ostello degli Elefanti is conveniently accessible by car, train, bus, and from the airport.

From Airport

Catania Airport is located just 4.6 km from our youth hostel and is easily accessible. The Alibus service is available for € 4, with departures every 25 minutes, even on holidays. The bus travels through the city center; we recommend getting off at the "Archi" stop just outside the port or at Piazza Stesicoro. From there, follow the signs to Piazza Duomo, take via Etnea, and you'll find our hostel at number 28, between Piazza Duomo and Piazza Università.

From the Central Station

From the train and bus station, the hostel is 1.3 km away, a 16-minute walk. Continue along Via VI Aprile towards Piazza dei Martiri, then turn right into Piazza, and continue along Via Vittorio Emanuele II. Once you reach Piazza Duomo, turn right onto Via Etnea; we are located at number 28, the first building on the right. Follow the directions provided on the Google maps link.
There are numerous buses passing near the station; just ask for Piazza Duomo, and finding us will be a breeze.

By Car

For those arriving by car, we provide a Google map. Please note that parking on the streets around the hostel is subject to charges every day, excluding holidays, from 08:00 to 13:0 and from 15:00 to 20:00. Based on the availability of free spaces, we recommend choosing the Borsellino parking lot, as it is equipped with video surveillance.

BUS Transfers

All buses from Palermo, Agrigento, Ragusa, Taormina, Messina and Siracusa of the Sais and Interbus companies have an intermediate stop in Piazza Borsellino/Alcalà, which is only 300 meters from our hostel. We suggest you follow the Google maps link for the best route.
All other buses stop near the train station.
